Basher studied Textiles in Heriot-Watt University , Edinburgh, UK. He has received an MPhil degree in November 2005 for completing a successful research work emphasized on the textile dyeing process at the School of Textiles & Design. His research work was conducted from both part of Atlantic, among which he was a regular visiting research student at the College of Textiles, North Carolina State University, USA. During that time Basher was involved in most aspects of the organization of seminars and events such as the INTEDEC 2003, Edinburgh conference. He was one of the oral presenter of 84th Textile Institute Annual World Conference, March 22-25, 2005; Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. Earlier on he received his Bachelor and Master degree in Chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, India.
He has an extensive work experiences with DEBENHAMS (UK),TESCO (UK), B&C (Belgium) and NATH (Spain) as a Technologist. Joined Ornate Arcade in 2006 as its Managing Director, Basher’s role is principally to liaise with textile industry and help to increase industrial participation, global marketing etc, also responsible for developing business through his analytical abilities and management skills. Basher loves to travel internationally and meet new people. He is a highly motivated, harmonized and adapted person. Can perform work under pressure as a part of team or using own initiative within the time limit. Have a strong eye for details and the confidence to never compromise on quality. |
